Following one particular side of an artist’s work
Akouphen’s catalogue opens up several paths. His official Bandcamp profile links the name Akouphen to a journey from tekno to hardcore and associates Les400Coups with tribe. This detail encourages an approach based on specific records, rather than assigning one style to everything that appears around his name.
To explore the hardcore side here, two catalogue numbers offer different starting points: AKOUPHEN01, titled Bruizer EP, and Void Ritual 01, shared with Angel Flo. The Teknoboutik listings for these two 12-inch records classify them as Hardcore. This route stays focused on these editions, without extending the selection to neighbouring Tribe or Freetekno releases.
Bruizer EP: four tracks under one name
The AKOUPHEN 01 playlist published by the artist brings together Damnation, Le Jugement, Bruizer and Enfer. The vinyl listing places them on the record: Damnation and Le Jugement are on side A; Bruizer and Enfer are on side B. All four tracks are credited to Akouphen.
Bruizer is therefore both the name of track B1 and the title of the EP. A search for that word alone may lead to the individual track; the catalogue number AKOUPHEN01 and the full tracklist help locate the record. For an initial exploration, the four tracks form a set devoted to the same artist, to be explored in whichever order you choose.
Void Ritual 01: one side for each artist
Void Ritual 01 changes the make-up of the record. The official From Da Underground Records release credits side A to Akouphen, with Meurtre mort détruire and La prophétie. Side B belongs to Angel Flo, with The Sadness and Fucking This. The Teknoboutik listing follows the same division.
This is a shared record: two names on the release do not mean that each of its four tracks was recorded as a duo. The collective also credits Akouphen with mastering. That role concerns the release’s sound production; the names attached to the tracks identify who is responsible for each side.
Two ways to continue exploring
Bruizer EP keeps the focus on four Akouphen tracks. Void Ritual 01 places his two contributions alongside Angel Flo’s on the same physical record. The second record can therefore open a path towards another producer after an initial discovery of Akouphen.
The official playlists and the shop’s excerpts provide starting points for your own listening. On the shared record, move from one side to the other with a specific question in mind: which elements would you like to find in your hardcore record box? Note the titles that catch your attention before continuing your search through either artist’s work.
Finding the two editions
On 26 October 2026, the Teknoboutik listings for Akouphen 01 – Bruizer and Void Ritual 01 each describe a new 12-inch vinyl copy and show it as in stock. This information can change. The links below point to the two verified editions, with their catalogue numbers and excerpts.
Core-Tex is a publication associated with Teknoboutik. This documented selection offers two ways into a catalogue; it is neither a sales chart nor a report of an editorial listening session.
